Since we started carrying STATIC, I’ve worn countless wool base layers, but I always found myself going back to the All Elevation. Simply put, it has my favorite feel against the skin.

Among them, this Forge Wool, released in the fall of 2026, offers comfort that is every bit as good as the All Elevation. Perhaps it's thanks to the 70% wool content, but it feels incredibly comfortable to wear.

And yet, it has the high durability of a nylon blend... This one is definitely joining my "first-string" rotation. Just keep in mind that since it is 70% wool, it dries a bit slower than the All Elevation.

Because it’s an athletic fit, I thought it might be tight, but you should be fine choosing your usual size.

A series that pursues further durability while remaining wool-based

In mountaineering and climbing, there are many elements that can damage fabric, such as rubbing against backpacks or rocks. Previously, the solution was to increase durability by using a higher ratio of high-strength nylon. However, this series achieves uncompromising strength while maintaining a high wool content of 70%.

In our climbing tests, we repeatedly tested it on rough-grained granite inside off-width cracks (cracks wide enough to fit a body), and there was no visible major damage. Additionally, even during mountaineering with a pack weighing over 10kg and heavy perspiration, no pilling occurred. Of course, it won't look exactly like new after repeated use, but it is a wool T-shirt that maintains its shape without visual degradation and can be used hard for a long time.

The secret to its high abrasion resistance is the use of "Titan Spun" yarn. By wrapping two ultra-fine nylon filaments around a core wool thread at uniform intervals, we achieve high abrasion resistance. It is a technical item that resolves the conflicting functions of high wool content—maintaining suppleness—while also providing durability.
