Normally, down jackets rely on the air layer trapped by down clusters to provide warmth, so fluffiness (loft) is key. My first impression was, "Is this super thin, sheet-like down really okay?" but after wearing it, I was convinced.

Yes, this is more of an active insulation jacket than a traditional down jacket meant for heavy warmth while stationary.

It offers great breathability to prevent overheating, the sheet structure eliminates cold spots, the down doesn't leak, it’s not bulky so it’s easy to move in, and because it’s thin, it’s perfect for layering.

It’s like the best of both worlds—a down jacket and active insulation combined. Doesn't this feel like it's going to become a whole new category?

It is packable and can be folded into the left pocket.

Store Manager (164cm/slim build): UK size 08

Rab uses UK sizing.
Also, depending on the model, Rab products come in various fits such as slim or regular. For me, I usually choose UK M for slim-fit models and UK S for regular-fit models.

Since this is a regular fit, I chose UK S.
When selecting your size, I recommend going one size down from your usual size.
