This is a strap that can be attached to a 64cm wide sleeping mat, also known as a wide mat.

The quilt that comes with the Revelation quilt is for a standard mat (approximately 51cm-58cm), so if you are using a larger mat, please use this separately.

I think side sleepers and others use large mattresses!
