What makes these sunglasses unique is that they are ultra-lightweight and have a hood. They are also designed for everyday wear. Niho is a brand from Fukui Prefecture, a major producer of glasses and sunglasses.
Fashionable items are often lacking in functionality , and functional items are often not fashionable . After all, it's best to have something that is both fashionable and highly functional.
Niho sunglasses have hoods that can be removed for everyday use, and can be attached to block out the wind and sunlight when outdoors (top hood not included, bottom hood attached).
Furthermore, the main body is ultra-lightweight at just 21 g (without hood) and is extremely comfortable to wear.
In addition to Boston, there are three other frame shapes to choose from for your sunglasses: Wellington and Round, so you can choose the design that best suits your face!

For this reason , the lens color is a "slightly light brown." You may notice a slightly brown color immediately after putting them on, but after a minute or two, your eyes will get used to it and your vision will be closer to what you would see with your bare eyes, and the contrast effect will give you a clear view. You can clearly see unevenness in the snow and white lines on the road. The perfect shade of brown makes this a versatile color that can be used from daytime to evening .

Niho's side hood (hereafter referred to as the hood) can be attached and detached with a single touch, making it a versatile design that can be worn not only on the mountain but also for everyday use (patented structure).
While regular color lenses reduce the amount of light, polarized lenses also cut out reflected light and glare.
- Water-repellent coating on both sides of the lens repels rain and sweat, and fingerprints and other smudges can be wiped away with a quick wipe.
- Anti-reflective coating on the back of the lens reduces reflected light and flickering when light enters the inside of the sunglasses.
4. High impact resistance
Made from impact-resistant polycarbonate material, which is so impact-resistant it is even used in bulletproof shields, and is a lightweight material that is ideal for outdoor use.
5. A color lineup perfect for mountain climbing and outdoor activities
Polarized lenses, thanks to the effect of the polarizing filter, can effectively cut glare without having to make the lenses as dark as regular tinted lenses. Therefore, by using lighter tints, you can continue to wear them not only during the day but also in dimly lit situations such as in the evening without your vision becoming too dark, and you can protect your eyes from UV rays and obstacles.
*While most mountaineering lenses have a visible light transmittance of around 15% to 20% and are often darker in color, Niho offers a wide range of lighter colors with a visible light transmittance of 30% to 34%. Regardless of the lens color, they block 99.9% of UV rays.
These sunglasses block out as much light as possible and are comfortable to wear, even when moving vigorously.
① Upper hood structure that blocks out as much light as possible <br>The role of sunglasses is to prevent light from entering. However, the shape of sports sunglasses that cover the face makes them difficult to wear on a daily basis... That's why we added a hood to the "top" to block light from entering from above. When viewed from the front (when someone is looking at them), the design is easy to wear on a daily basis, and we aimed to achieve both design and functionality by reducing the amount of light entering as much as possible.
*The image shows the NH-101. Hoods are installed on both sides to prevent the gap between the face and the sunglasses from becoming too large (common structure for all models).
②Adjustable fit to fit your face size
When you're hiking and moving around vigorously, the stress of your sunglasses slipping off can be a real hassle. To combat this, we've incorporated a fit adjustment mechanism into the earpieces (rubber parts). The temples are made of a flexible material (TR-90) that ensures a comfortable fit, but the rubber parts can be bent inward or outward to suit your personal preferences, such as "I have a larger face so I want a wider fit," "I have a smaller face so I want a narrower fit," or "I move around a lot so I want a tighter fit."
*Please do not bend the product repeatedly or at right angles, as this will cause material fatigue. As a guideline, the bending angle should be within ±30 degrees from the original position.
3. Adjustable fit to fit your nose size <br> Nose size (nose width) and height vary depending on the user, male or female. This allows you to adjust the width to fit your nose, or to increase the distance between the lenses because your eyelashes are touching them. 
*Please refrain from bending the cable excessively and repeatedly as this can lead to metal fatigue. As a guideline, bend the cable no more than 5 times within a range of 5 mm from the original position in both the left and right and vertical directions. The image shows the NH-101.
④ Dedicated hole for attaching a glasses cord <br>A hole has been provided in the ear loop where you can attach a glasses cord to prevent it from getting lost. You can use commercially available string or thin cord (rope) up to 2mm in diameter as a substitute for a glasses cord. You can attach a thin cord of your choice.

Comes with a microfiber pouch that doubles as a glasses cloth <br>A pouch is included to protect your sunglasses from dirt and scratches. If the lenses get dirty, you can wipe them off with this pouch. The design allows the sunglasses and hoods to be stored separately to prevent scratches on the lenses. (A pouch that matches the design of the sunglasses is included.)
*When carrying sunglasses, please store them in a place where they will not be exposed to pressure, such as the rain cover of your backpack.
*If the pouch gets dirty, you can wash it by hand.
