The Basic Cap Extra is here to help those with larger heads! Up until now, our Basic Cap was only available in one size, which made it difficult for those with head circumferences over 60cm to wear. However, a large size has now been released for those individuals. We hope that all of you with larger heads will enjoy the Basic Cap.

The main body features a simple 6-panel design.

Unlike cycle caps with shallow profiles and short brims, the "Basic Cap" pursues a deep fit and an appropriate brim length.

It strikes an exquisite balance that is less susceptible to wind and effectively blocks sunlight.

Every detail has been thoroughly considered to ensure stress-free use in both outdoor and everyday settings.

Before this cap was created, I tried many caps from various outdoor brands.

However, all of them were a bit shallow and didn't cover my ears completely.

Especially on windy days, I had to constantly worry about the cap flying off, which was stressful.

Since my head circumference is a bit larger, off-the-shelf caps didn't fit me well.

Through these experiences, I developed a strong desire to create a cap that I would truly find comfortable.

And so, in 2019, the "Basic Cap" was born.

The concept and design embodied in this cap continue to be inherited unchanged today.

[Material]

The main body of the cap uses Toray's Stunner®, a 100% nylon material that combines water repellency, wind resistance, and excellent moisture permeability. This high-performance material reliably protects against natural threats like rain and wind, while reducing stuffiness and discomfort caused by perspiration, maintaining a comfortable fit.

Stunner®'s greatest feature is its excellent durable water repellency. It can handle light rain and sudden weather changes, and its water repellent performance lasts, allowing for long-term use. Furthermore, it is highly wind-resistant, preventing cold air from entering, thus keeping you warm on chilly days. On the other hand, its high moisture permeability allows excess moisture to escape, maintaining comfort even during intense activities.

Additionally, despite being a synthetic fiber, this material boasts a natural and elegant appearance, similar to a cotton blend. Its natural look achieves a design that seamlessly blends into daily life and urban styling, while maintaining the high functionality of outdoor wear.

Furthermore, a special coating on the back creates a moderately firm and resilient texture. This processing allows the lightweight material to maintain its shape well, and an added benefit is that it is less prone to wrinkles during use.

The sweatband uses COOLMAX® fabric.

This 100% polyester pique material combines quick-drying, moisture-wicking, and UV-cut (UPF 40+) functions.

[Care Instructions]

We recommend putting it in a laundry net when washing.

Dark colored products may transfer dye, so please wash separately from other items as a precaution.

Do not use detergents containing fluorescent brighteners or chlorine bleach.

Do not tumble dry.

When ironing, always use a pressing cloth and iron from the back side.

The core of the brim is a soft core, so it will not break if bent, but if the brim is folded too tightly, it will wrinkle and take time to return to its original state. Please avoid intentionally folding it.
