This eco-friendly fabric features a 3-layer structure that uses thread to connect the front and back mesh layers to create space, while utilizing pre-existing waste yarn (recycled polyester) from the factory.

It provides both warmth and ventilation, and because the fabric itself is not brushed, it has the added benefit of minimizing microplastic shedding.

It’s a special fabric that is neither a fleece nor a summer T-shirt, but can function as both.

"ByeHello" Project

STATIC operates "ByeHello," a circular program where we collect cutting scraps from polyester products and used items to spin into new recycled polyester yarn for future products.

Items that have "Regenerate me!" on their care labels are eligible for this program.

By minimizing waste, reducing CO2 emissions from incineration, and recycling raw materials, we believe this is a sustainable approach for outdoor products.

The Importance of Adopting Recycled Materials

Throughout the "life cycle" of clothing—from raw material procurement to post-use disposal—the raw material procurement process accounts for the highest amount of CO2 emissions, roughly 50% of the total. In other words, reducing CO2 emissions in raw material procurement significantly lowers the environmental burden of a garment. For example, pre-consumer recycled nylon(*) can reduce CO2 emissions by up to 75%. We believe that choosing to adopt and wear recycled materials whenever possible is a vital action.
