This is the hoodie version of STATIC's mountain shirts [Merced River Shirts]. It's something I've been waiting for for a while. While many other companies have released mountain shirts with hoods, the detachable hood is a big plus. You can wear the hood on the mountain and opt for the hoodless version at the restaurant after you come down.

And it's so light, weighing just 137g (M/L sizes), that you'll exclaim, "It's so light!" And as you'd expect from STATIC, the fabric is 100% recycled nylon.

You can wear it as is, or take it with you as a wind shell. It's stretchy and easy to move in.

The size is quite difficult to decide on, but at 170cm tall, S/M and M/L fit me comfortably. Customers have tried it on many times and have chosen it.

If you want a snug fit, I recommend the smaller size (S/M in my case), but if you want a looser fit, I recommend the larger size (M/L).

A lightweight wind shirt that can be used for hiking, mountain climbing, and everyday wear.

The Merced River is a river that flows through Yosemite Valley, and this shirt is inspired by the idea of a shirt that can be worn while strolling around the river, seeing waterfalls, looking at Ansel Adams photographs, or just relaxing and enjoying nature.

The 100% recycled nylon fabric is woven without polyurethane, which becomes heavy when it absorbs water, giving it high stretchability. It also has a rough, textured feel, so it stays dry even when you sweat, making it perfect for high-altitude summers.

It's lightweight and compact, so it can also be used as a wind shell.

The importance of using recycled materials

In the "life cycle of clothing," from raw material procurement to disposal after wear, the raw material procurement process accounts for the largest amount of CO2 emissions, accounting for approximately 50% of the total. In other words, reducing CO2 emissions during raw material procurement will significantly reduce the environmental impact over the "life cycle of clothing." In the case of pre-consumer recycled nylon (*), there are examples where CO2 emissions have been reduced by as much as 75%, so we believe that using recycled materials as much as possible and choosing and wearing such clothing is an important action.
